All human life is precious. No matter where we come from, we all deserve to live free from violence and to put our children to bed, knowing that they will wake up safely. The world has been horrified by the loss of life that has taken place in Israel and Palestine over the last week. Benjamin Netanyahu and his far-right government have launched a vicious, all-out attack on civilians trapped inside Gaza and is planning on bombing the people there, nearly half of whom are children, to extinction. The killing of so many innocent people by Hamas sent shockwaves throughout the world and we grieve for all the lives unjustly lost. But here more than anywhere, we know that this response will lead only to more death, loss and horror. At times like this, we must hold fast to our humanity. We in Northern Ireland know all too well the devastating impact of cycles of violence, and how they reverberate across generations. We call on you to do all you can to stop the war and the slaughter of innocent civilians in this conflict. A future of peace and safety, grounded in justice, freedom and equality for all, is the only option.

Ms Von De Leyen has endorsed a war crime in the name of EU citizens. Not only is this morally repugnant but it is a serious breach of democratic protocol which threatens the very fabric of the European project and has seriously weakened the EU's ability to respond to war crimes in the future. If the EU is to regain any credibility and salvage its ability to respond to war crimes in the future, then Ms Von De Leyen must be censured and removed from office immediately. The longer Ms Von De Leyen remains in office the more damage this breach of protocol will do to the European project.

It's clear that the UN Security Council is deadlocked by US vetoes and, as a result, is unable to bring about peace in Gaza. The recent UN General Assembly verdict, calling for a humanitarian truce, has been clearly ignored by the Israeli government as bombings, mass starvation and ground invasions continue to be carried out. The United States' veto is blocking the UN Security Council from taking action. The death toll in Gaza is continuing to rise and until the bombings stop and water, healthcare and other vital services are restored then thousands more are doomed to die from the violence, dehydration, starvation and outbreaks of deadly disease. Ireland must support an immediate ceasefire at the UN Emergency General Assembly under the Uniting for Peace Resolution. The outcome of this may be backed by the use of U.N. armed peacekeepers when necessary, as a last resort, in the case of a breach of the peace or act of aggression. It's clear that rhetoric alone has not been enough to stop Netanyahu's government from continuing to carry out a genocide in Gaza. The enforceable nature of a U4P is required to ensure an immediate ceasefire and an end to the unimaginable devastation that is happening every day in Gaza.

Disabled people want to live full and equal lives. We want to work in secure, adequately paid employment with the necessary education, skills, qualifications, access, opportunities, and services i.e. Personal supports and transport. Forcing people into discriminatory and degrading assessments and being categorised based on impairments for the purpose of social protection is degrading, inhumane, and tramples over our human rights as per UN Convention on Rights of People with Disabilities and the Employment Equality Act.

People with disabilities deserve better. Elderly people deserve better. Children playing for sports teams deserve better. Parents changing nappies deserve better. We all deserve better. It’s our park, after all. St Anne’s Park needs better toilets. St Anne’s Park needs more toilets. St Anne’s needs proper wheelchair-accessible toilets. St Anne’s needs proper baby-changing facilities.

Less trees, more traffic congestion outside and more pedestrian traffic inside will mean Patrician Villas will become a less safe, less green, more polluted, noisier and unhealthier place to live. The image of Patrician Villas as a 'residential' area and its 'sense of community' will be severely compromised and the quality of life of its residents will be drastically altered. The NTA proposals are outlined below. (1) One main proposal is the relocation of the Stillorgan Park Road bus stop approximately 120m (2 min walk) from its current location. To facilitate this, the following additional modifications are proposed: • Construction of an ‘Island-style’ bus stop requiring land take, and the removal of trees, • Construction of a Toucan crossing in front of the relocated bus stop; i.e. the building of an additional pedestrian crossing ‘on’ the dual carriageway in the same area as the existing pedestrian crossing ‘under’ the dual carriageway. • Creating a pedestrian access point by removing part of the wall between Patrician Villas recreational space and the N11, and the removal of trees. • Construction of a concrete staircase and winding ramp requiring the sacrifice of a recreational space, and the removal of trees. (2) Another proposal is the construction of a 1.8m footpath the length of the border between Patrician Villas and the N11 dual carriageway. To facilitate this, 2 other modifications are proposed - • Extension of the underpass further into the neighbourhood for a footpath above, • Land take of at least 2m the length of Patrician Villas and the removal of trees. The proposed infrastructure changes are "minor" in terms of impact - i.e. moving a bus stop only 120 meters (a 2 mins walk) and creating a footpath along an area that has no entrances and that will abruptly come to an end at the junction. Yet the sacrifices Patrician Villas and Grove are expected to make and the danger and affective health implications to residents are "major". Real change happens when everyday people like you and I come together and stand up for what we believe in. Together we can reach lots of people and help create change around this important issue. The Owenmore Fishery has been sold from one private landlord too another. Its has never been in the hands of the Irish People. For the Dingle Peninsula to be recognised as the crown of the Kingdom then the people demand this government to buy what is truly ours. For too long the Dingle Peninsula has not got the recognition that it deserves that stops now. The pass and the river that drains it needs to be in the hands of the Irish people!

Lough Neagh is the largest lake on these islands.  Steeped in history and unique biodiversity, a pollution expert has said that without intervention Lough Neagh will become “a stinking septic tank that’s 400 square kilometres with no lid on it” from which we can no longer draw drinking water.  The owner of the lake-bed makes huge profits by selling licences to sand extraction companies. It's not enough to offer to sell the Lough, it must be given freely over to the peole so that the desecration can stop.

In turning branches cashless, people lost their jobs, as 15 banks were shut down. There are vulnerable customers all over Ireland that need all banks to restore services.
