MAKE SCHOOLS COVID19 SAFEYou, the Department of Education have a duty of care for the safety & protection of our children & school staff. Parents and school staff were promised “protection measures” yet none are in place. Now at level 5, there are still no safety measures and schools are reporting that when a positive case is in a classroom, they are unable to get hold of HSE and have no guidance only to get on with it and continue with positive cases within the class. NOT ACCEPTABLE.87 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Teachers & Kids Lives Matter

Keep Michael in Ireland - from Carlow College, St. Patrick'sMichael has been resident in Ireland for five years. In those years he has consistently striven towards completing his education, entirely on the merit of his own hard work. Never once has he claimed assistance from the state, and has worked for the entirety of his time in Ireland. The grounds for his deportation were the result of failing to produce documents confirming his attendance at Carlow College; this was an impossibility for the simple reason that his acceptance had yet to be confirmed. Michael intends to use his degree in Social Political and Community studies to become a community worker, allowing him to better serve in whatever community he comes to reside. Upon achieving his degree, he intends to return to his native Malawi, having completed his education without any financial assistance from the Irish state. The situation in which he finds himself could befall anybody in similar circumstances, and the ends to which intends to turn his degree are supremely noble. By allowing him to complete his degree we are helping Michael to help others. The students stand with Michael. Carlow College stands with Michael. We need you to stand with Michael too. #CarlowWithMichael1,186 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Adam Kane

Gorey Central School’s pupil enrollment into Gorey Community SchoolRecent changes to Gorey Community School (GCS) enrolment policy mean that we at Gorey Central School have gone from a priority feeder school since our inception to one of 16 schools in a lottery. The ratified changes will come into effect for enrollment from September 2019. When parents chose Gorey Central School many did so on the understanding they were prioritized for enrollment in Gorey Community School. We are currently second in proximity to Gorey Community school and now our families face the real possibility they may have to look outside Gorey town for a place in a secondary School. We have always held strong links with Gorey Community School and feel our history, proximity and pre-existing links should be respected and honored. We wish for you to show your support for the children and families enrolled Gorey Central School currently and for generations to come.100 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Parent Teacher Association Gorey Central School
