Ireland must exit the Energy Charter TreatyThe Energy Charter Treaty (ECT) is a trade agreement that allows fossil fuel companies sue governments for billions of euro if that government were to try and stop fossil fuel projects or lower people's energy bills. It's the fossil fuel industry's secret weapon to make sure governments can't act on climate change or the cost of energy. Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Poland, Slovenia, the Netherlands and Luxembourg have already said they will withdraw and the EU Parliament also wants the rest of the EU to withdraw from this dangerous and costly treaty. With the cost of energy at record levels and climate disasters becoming more and more frequent it is Ireland's time to get out. Sign today and tell Ministers Simon Coveney and Eamon Ryan that Ireland must leave the Energy Charter Treaty now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4vkgeT5xvs2,644 of 3,000 Signatures

Provide Consistency and Transparency in the Presentation of Electricity TariffsPlease see the YouTube video I have created to explain why you should sign this petition (see updates for link). It is difficult if not impossible to understand all the electricity plan variables, and to make an informed choice as things stand today. I created an excel model to assist with this decision making process, but excel skills should not be necessary for a consumer to pick their electricity plan!322 of 400 SignaturesCreated by Kirsty Halloran

Keep cash services in: AIB DundrumAIB is moving 70 of their branches to cashless banking. [1] Not only will going cashless mean no notes, coins, cheques, foreign exchange, bank drafts - it will remove any drop safes, night safes and ATMs outside. This is going to cause huge hardship for many people - especially older and vulnerable people, local businesses, people who don’t have access to the internet. The greed and recklessness of banks, including AIB bosses, played a crucial role in bringing about the financial crash. [2] Homes were repossessed by banks, families lost their incomes, young and not-so-young people were forced to emigrate, businesses had to close. We cannot stand by while our majority state-owned bank hurts our communities again. Keep cash services in AIB BirrGoing cashless would gravely impact our community as a whole. There are a great deal of people that hugely rely on the cash services daily. There are many people who would negatively impact from going cashless including elderly people & people who cannot travel to other banks elsewhere. I would also affect people who are not tech savy. We do not want a cashless society4 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Aoife Plunkett
