The main activity is the burning of fossil fuels, of which the use of passenger cars is an important factor. We ordinary citizens can have a radical and effective influence on climate change. A gradual shift to complex social problems occurs in one way. Mass popular movements. Let's tell the automakers what we want to give up. Many people have to make sacrifices for change to occur. Send a message saying clearly that you are giving up on gasoline cars. Some builders go in that direction, but very slowly. And it is not enough! We will send a real message of change. They refuse to buy another car or truck with gasoline. It is consumer demand that dictates what is produced and what is sold, not car manufacturers. Let's tell them what we want. An electric vehicle that can be powered by renewable energy sources. Sign this petition and commit, along with many others, to the decision not to buy cars. We are determined to contribute to a stable climate and a better future for our families, friends and communities.

Tusla’s new Child Abuse Substantiation Procedures will allow in certain certain circumstances for people under investigation for child abuse, including sexual abuse, to personally interview their alleged victims. The new procedures constitutes inter alia: • a victims right to privacy and dignity throughout an investigation process being severely undermined by these proposals. • a complete lack of regard for the well-being of the victim: the new procedures have potential to retraumatise victims. • a barrier to reporting abuse: it is extremely difficult in any circumstance for victims to come forward with a complaint of abuse. The prospect of having to meet an abuser may have implications on people coming forward with cases of abuse in the future. • an erosion of child-safeguarding.

This plan is outrageous and puts an excessive charge on the use of these proposed privately owned ATM’s, (approximately 1000 combined) which will most likely hit lower waged workers, students and people in receipt of social welfare payments, to name just a few. This proposal is another unjust ploy by Bank of Ireland and Allied Irish Bank to increase their profits, at the behest of the ordinary person. The aforementioned Banks have sold off branches, and reduced in person cash services at their branches. Furthermore, people in Rural Ireland will have to travel to find a Bank owned ATM in order to avoid this financial burden. I also call on the Irish Government and the Financial Regulator to stop this proposal from going through.

This project will cause the complete destruction of one of the most historical and environmentally important areas in Ireland. Our aim is to protect our beautiful community and the families living within it. We want to raise awareness and give the people a voice. We are not against renewable energy, however, we will not stand for the environmental and archaeological destruction Ireland's Ancient East. Our Main Concerns: Noise Pollution - The proposed turbines will tower a mere 500 meters from the front doors of local residents. The noise of turbines of such scale would be unbearable for the many families who have lived on the peaceful untouched hillside for generations. Flicker Effect - The flickering shadow cast by the sun shining through the moving turbines would affect houses all across the area over an estimated distance of up to 2km. Destruction of Historical Sites and Monuments - The proposed development site is not only home to a Stone Circle, a number of Ringforts, Cairns, a Mound Barrow and an Ogham Stone, but is also home to one of Ireland's oldest graveyards and resting place of Sam McAllister. Environmental Impact - The devastation caused in the past by the construction of these gigantic wind turbines in Scotland and Galway, to name a few, has had a detrimental effect on the local environment. Not only was visible damage inflicted on the landscape, but also irreparable damage to the source of natural water supplies, the effects of which are still ongoing. Property Devaluation - Properties in the area and the surrounding areas will severely suffer as a result of the destruction of our natural environment, making many houses unsaleable. We need your support to save Kilranelagh hill in the heart of the Garden of Ireland. These lands must be protected for our future generations. If we don't put a stop to this now who is to say where this will ever stop.

It's important for an asylum seekers who has permission to work be allowed to drive. Most of the asylum seekers live in direct provision centres. Some of these centres are located with very less public transport facilities. In such situation haveing the skills,ability,will,interest and legal permission to work there is no other choice for an asylum seeker apart from satying in the hostel and be fully dependent on the state and tax payers. Asylum seekers once they get a job they are contributing to the Irish economy like all the other irish citizens paying tax and building Irelands economy stronger for a brighter future allowing an asylum seeker to be a part of it won't harm anyone in anyway.

Hedgerows are crucial to maintain wildlife diversity and to establish habitats. Driving Irish country roads what was once lush with hedgerow has now become something short of pure destruction, our entire roadside wildlife is being destroyed.

If TDs have to use public transport then Ireland will very quickly have a functioning, quality public transport system.

I am Deputy Leader for Party For Animal Welfare, Irelands newest Political Party. The protected Grey Seal is being blamed by fishermen and certain politicans for a loss in profits on Fish catches. Recently there have been calls for a cull in Ballina in Mayo and Dingle in Kerry. In Dingle, the Healy Raes support the fishermens call for a cull. It is not the Seals fault. Seals eat Fish. Our Seas are being overfished. Spanish supertrawlers are doing big damage including the world's second largest trawler which regularly catches on Irish Water and can catch 250 tonne of Fish daily. A Grey Seal eats 15 pound of Fish a day. There are also environmental changes to our Seas. Plastic and pollution. People are eating less Fish as more and more people are choosing plant based diets. Politicans like the Healy Raes think they can get away with just about anything to win a vote. And their solution to alot of situations is to kill, kill,kill. The same with culling Deer in Killarney National Park. The fishermen say that if they don't get a cull in Dingle, they will take matters into their own hands. In 2004 at least 60 Grey Seals were slaughtered on the Blaskets in an unauthorised cull. Nobody was ever charged. A cull now in Dingle will have major implications on the tourist industry. News of thus bloodshed will travel worldwide and this bad publicity will stop many from visiting. It is time all Animal lovers stand up to these politicians and fishermen.
