See the Camac!"See the Camac" is calling on Dublin City Council to make alterations to the wall obstructing the public view of the River Camac on Emmet Road/Goldenbridge. The Camac River in Inchicore is hidden underground in concrete culverts for long sections or is inaccessible due to development. Lowering or replacing the wall at Goldenbridge would give local people and visitors the chance to enjoy the sights and sounds of the river. This "quick win" would help build positive engagement around the longer term development of a Camac Greenway.248 of 300 SignaturesCreated by Camac Community

Traffic problems in Foxford County MayoIn Foxford Co.Mayo, the lack of planning and research which went into implementing the new zebra crossing and pelican crossing has made the problem worse. This had resulted in both drivers and pedestrian not using the services. Both have been placed in very dangerous stretches of the road and drives cannot see them unless they are very near. Schools children instead of using the crossings instead run across the road for convenience.Hopefully I aim to fix or change these problems by moving the crossing and lights. And also to ease the congestion caused around the schools during school hours. To do this I wish for a new one way lay out to be implemented. All of these issues affect each other and if one was solved it would help the others73 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Oisin Terzioglu

Pedestrian Crossings in Ireland: We deserve better! We are not given adequate time to cross the street and roads in Ireland at crossings. I want them to acknowledge that "4-6 seconds" is not adequate time for many people to cross at pedestrian crossings in Ireland. When we compare with France, Spain, and Portugal , pedestrian crossings are very rushed here, and people are not at all able to cross in a relaxed fashion in many cases. This is because the priority of the car over pedestrians is still enshrined in the time given to pedestrians to cross roads and streets in this country. It is also notable that there seems to be a lack of trust of Irish drivers to not speed in urban areas as the lack of Pelican Crossings here in our towns and cities is very noticeable. These are the best way to allow pedestrians cross and not have traffic building up.9 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Eoin Gleeson

WE NEED A PEDESTRIAN CROSSING IN KILL CO KILDAREWe need immediate action on the provision of a safe pedestrian crossing in the centre of Kill Village. There is increased traffic through the village and it has become almost impossible to safely cross the main street at the busiest area around the supermarket and bus stop to Dublin.1,053 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Aurley Keenan

Improve pedestrian safety in Kilmuckridge, County WexfordPut in place a pedestrian crossing at Taylor Walkers Dance Academy or install traffic lights at the T junction to ensure students/all pedestrians can cross the road in a safe manner. This would also help drivers become more aware and show consideration for pedestrians by giving them the right of way and reducing speed.144 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Susan Caplice
