Extend all Part 4 TenanciesI want the Minister for Housing to extend all Part 4 Tenancies to a minimum of 6 years or ideally to 10 years, Fine Gael inform us the housing crisis will take time to fix so one way to provide security to tenants is by extending the terms of a Part 4 Tenancy. Tenants acquire a Part 4 tenancy after 6 months in a fixed term lease. A Part 4 runs along side a Fixed Term Tenancy and entitles a tenant to further stay in the property for up to 5 and half years if the tenancy began after the 24th December 2016. For tenancies that began before 24th December 2016 tenants can only remain for a further 3 and a half years.52 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Dublin Rental Investigator

The Hat Factory Campaign CastlebarThe local community of Castlebar calls on Mayo County Council to immediately begin the process to compulsory purchase the Old Hat Factory Site on the Newport Road in Castlebar and to redevelop the site as a public amenity. We believe the site should be used to provide a state of the art preschool facility along with social housing for those on the housing waiting list of Mayo County Council. This site is an eyesore in the county town and has for the most part been left derelict by its private owners while they watch the value of their asset skyrocket. We believe the Irish government should provide the necessary funding from the huge budget surplus of nearly €10Billion in the coming year. We call on all the Mayo TDs to use their position to have these funds provided to Mayo County Council.61 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Joe Daly

Spend money on homes not weapons. Rescind PESCOReverse the decision to sign-up to the Permanent European Security Co-Operation (PESCO). This agreement squanders billions of our budget on weaponry which could and should be spent on housing and health instead. PESCO ultimately leads to the creation of an EU army, running counter to Irish neutrality.143 of 200 SignaturesCreated by Galway Alliance Against War
