Trees for Charlemont Street

Please plant street trees along the footpath on Charlemont Street, Dublin 2, to give our street shade, greenery and a better place to live.
Why is this important?
Charlemont Street has wide footpaths but not a single tree along this stretch: just brick, paving and traffic. Street trees would give shade on hot days, soak up rainwater, cut noise and make the street a calmer, greener place to live, work and walk. Dublin City Council has already planted trees in the North East Inner City and the Liberties, so we know it can be done here. The more of us who sign, the harder it is for the council to ignore. Add your name and help green Charlemont Street.
How it will be delivered
We will deliver the petition, with all signatures, to Dublin City Council's Parks, Biodiversity and Landscape Services and to the councillors of the South East Area Committee. We will present it in person at a South East Area Committee meeting at City Hall, and share the result with everyone who signed.
