Stop the unsustainable Salmon farming in cages in our bays. Stop the sea lice and diseases affecting native wild salmon. Stop poison filled Salmon entering our food chain.

We need them to stop using plastic bottles for milk. Single use plastic is killing our planet. The plastic containers are not being recycled properly. The recycling companies are shipping the waste to china which gives our milk a huge carbon foot print. Instead we need to return to glass bottles. That we return to the producers either through our milk men or the supermarkets where the bottles can be sterilised and reused. This will reduce our plastic waste. There should be a small discount to customers who return their clean glass bottles to the company as an incentive.

Longwood residents want Meath County Council to install traffic calming measures into our village, we have been actively campaigning since early 2017 to reduce speeding in our area.

We, the undersigned, request that more visible community policing is engaged in the Ringsend, Irishtown, Bath Ave/South Lotts and Sandymount areas of Dublin 4, with particular focus on the playground at Sean Moore Park, Dublin 4.

We created this petition to express our deep concern about plans to develop a gas-fired power generator and a battery energy storage facility in the Portumna/Killimor area of East Galway. There has been no engagement or consultation with the local community in relation to this development. We are seriously concerned about the impact of such an enormous facility on property, tourism, agriculture and local business in East Galway.  The potential health impacts cannot be overlooked. We believe this will have a grave impact on the biodiveristy of the local area.  The tourism industry and local businesses, which so heavily rely on the preservation and promotion of the unique environment of East Galway, could face significant negative impacts.  We must ask - why is there a need for more power plants in this region? Urgently address the homecare crisis and improve supports and services for Ireland's 355,000 family carers.

Don't allow planning to go ahead for this development in our rural town. We refuse to be the guinea pigs for Futur Energy. Why even consider damaging our local environment for an untested, unregulated project?

Protect our natural heritage!

Education Staff, both teachers and SNAs should be vaccinated as a matter of urgency in order to keep staff and our most vulnerable students safe and in order to facilitate the full reopening of our schools and to keep them open.
