Bring forward a referendum to enshrine housing as a constitutional right, as recommended by the Housing Commission. Prioritise passing legislation to hold this referendum by 2026.

Our Demands to the NTA on Finglas Bus Services: 1. Create a North West–South Finglas Link Introduce a direct route connecting the north-west of Finglas to the south of Finglas. People need this link to access local shops, post offices, schools and other essential services. 2. Serve Beneavin Road Alter the new routes so that Beneavin Road is directly served. This is vital for residents, schools, and nursing homes in the area and has already been called for by local residents groups. 3. Greater Frequency on Route 23 (Replacing the 83) The 83 has consistently high demand, with buses often overcrowded at peak times. At present we have a 10/12 minute service at peak time on the 83. On the 23, a 20 minute peak services is proposed, with bigger disimprovements outside of peak times. 4. Restore a Direct Finglas–DCU/Mobhi Road Link Reinstate a direct service from Finglas to DCU, Scoil Mobhi, Scoil Caitríona, and Na Fianna GAA on Mobhi Road. Under the current plan, people will face two-bus journeys where they previously had a direct link.

We the undersigned acknowledge the Council’s inability to deal with the housing and homelessness crisis in our city. We petition the Council to inform Government that this is the case, and to state that the Government must now declare a national housing emergency. Such a declaration will enable the Government to access special European Union funding to invest in housing, and also allow the Government advance emergency measures through legislation to tackle this national calamity.

Across the island of Ireland, thousands of families live with the unending grief of having lost loved ones to conflict borne of oppression and systemic injustice. We cannot stand by and watch as thousands of Palestinians are slaughtered in response to the atrocity committed by Hamas on the 7th October. We stand in grief with all who have lost and suffered. Yet, our history means we know that more conflict is not the answer.

As a society, we need to face up to the reality that male violence against women is an endemic problem. Listen to victims and survivors, reform the law courts, overhaul policing, reform our sex education curriculum and stop the objectification of women in the media. More than anything, the state needs to stop the platitudes and ensure women victims and survivors are not reduced to begging for help, but are believed, represented and resourced.

Simply suggest the idea, with the framing of 'honouring democratic will, that right to self-determination itself that Theresa feels qualified to lead a policy she was against because of her firm belief in, and the desire for a peace based on recognizing the mixed heritages of the people of Northern Ireland by allowing them to retain a connection to a part of Scotland'.

Garda Chief Nóirín O'Sullivan needs to stand down. She must not prejudice the government Inquiry into the allegations of a smear campaign led by Garda management against whistleblowers. She must also be held to account for the many allegations of wrongdoing and corruption within the Guards.

Please change the law so management companies cannot stop owners of apartments from having pets in their apartments.

Oppose the proposed Chat Control legislation (CSAM Regulation) being considered under the Danish EU Council Presidency.

Dear Minister Norma Foley, I am writing to express my deep frustration and heartbreak over the dire state of disability services in Donegal and across Ireland. My child, who requires essential occupational therapy, has not received a single session in the past two years. In fact, over the last decade, they have had only 4–5 appointments — an appallingly inadequate level of care for a child in need. This is not just our story; it is the reality for countless families across the country. Children with disabilities are being left behind, their development and well-being compromised by a failing system. Despite promises of improvement, services remain severely underfunded and understaffed, with families waiting years for even basic interventions. We cannot allow this neglect to continue. Every child deserves access to the care and support they need to thrive. I urge you to prioritize and invest in disability services, clear the backlog of cases, and give our children the future they deserve. We need action — not tomorrow, but now. Sincerely Anil Antony
