We are calling on Wexford County Council to take over the ownership and operation of Courtown Adventure and Leisure Centre for the people and communities of the surrounding areas. The population of Gorey and its surrounding areas is more than 14,000; more than both New Ross and Enniscorthy, where there are County Council operated swimming pools.

We want the state to pilot a new cost-rental model of affordable housing provision on the 10 acre site that’s left vacant following the failed regeneration of St. Michael's Estate in Inchicore.

Provide a swimming pool that can be accessed by the whole community; A pool with an adjustable floor to accommodate different depths for different activities; Swimming lessons, Lane Swimming, Casual/Fun swims, Water Polo, Water Safety & life Saving, Artistic Swimming Scuba & Open Water teaching.

There are only two park rangers covering all of Tymon Park, the second biggest park in Dublin.  Corkagh Park, in contrast, has six park rangers. There are also no park rangers in Watergate Park.  Park rangers are vital in ensuring our parks are kept clean and well-maintained. They are responsible for inspecting the playgrounds and ensuring the equipment isn't damaged or could injure children. They are also responsible for warding off anti-social behaviour and helping to prevent it by monitoring the park grounds. 

Instead of staffless libraries why not employ some of our lovely population in libraries across the country

Extend paid statutory Maternity Leave to all mothers until creches and childcare facilities reopen.

Lough Neagh is fast becoming a place of polluted destruction. DAERA must act now to put an emergency plan in place to clean up the Lough urgently.

Just like many other women, I had my babies in the Rotunda. I believe women and babies deserve world class care. The decision to refuse the critical care wing in the Rotunda is an enormous setback for maternity services. Yet again, women have to go out and fight for adequate health services. Anyone who has spent any time in the Rotunda knows it should have facilities fit for 21st century care for women and vulnerable babies, but instead cramped conditions make the life- saving work midwives, nurses and doctors do everyday harder than it should be.  Show your support by signing our petition to the Taoiseach and the Minister for Health. Government must commit to getting the critical care wing built as soon as possible.
