More than 30 years later, Imelda’s family continue to seek answers. A mural would serve as a lasting tribute to Imelda, help keep her story visible within the community, and remind the public that missing persons are never forgotten. Waterford Walls has transformed the city through public art that tells important stories. We believe Imelda’s story deserves a place among them. We respectfully ask Waterford Walls to work with Imelda’s family and the local community to create a mural in a prominent location in Waterford City.
