With no clear decision yet communicated, many of us are facing serious stress and uncertainty. The BIA has been a life-changing support—providing €325 per week, taxed and declared as self-employed income, with full accountability through regular surveys and detailed time logging. This is not a handout; it is recognition of creative work as real, valuable labour. The 2025 report by Dr. Jenny Dagg shows that this scheme has improved financial stability, artistic output, and wellbeing. Its recipients represent the full diversity of Irish artists across disciplines, regions, and career stages. We now urgently call on you to retain the BIA for current recipients, extend the scheme into the future, and expand access to all eligible artists in Ireland. To end the scheme now, with no transition plan, would damage not only the lives of artists but Ireland’s entire cultural ecosystem. Please act now. Keep the BIA alive. Support Ireland’s artists. We are calling on Wexford County Council to take over the ownership and operation of Courtown Adventure and Leisure Centre for the people and communities of the surrounding areas. I would like them to enforce mandatory microchipping of all animals considered as pets as well as spaying/neutering of animals (see text below for full info), provision funding for animal rescues, as well as prosecution of pet thieves. Effectively all people found not to be complying with the new regulations should be impact-fully fined and/or face jail time/community service. I would like to see more thorough Investigations conducted into breaches of Animal Welfare, more enforcement of the various legislation & harsher penalties & sentences for those convicted of offences.

This is no longer in place. In fact, every Monday night (8pm-8am) the RRV is parked up. This is unacceptable and unsafe. We, the people of County Roscommon demand the restoration of the RRV on a 24/7 basis in our County covered 24/7 by an Advanced Paramedic - as was promised by Fine Gael & the HSE.
