Take Action for Farmed Animals

Listen to the Irish public and take better care for farm animals, 97% of Irish citizens think farmed animals should be provided with enough space to move around, lie down and stand up.

If you want your voice to be heard attend one of the following two workshops:

Raise the minimum age for calves to be exported and limit tranport of pregnant cattle and require mandatory welfare checks. There should be no routine tail docking/teeth rasping for pigs and sow stalls should be phased out. Broiler chickens should not be forced to grow at an unnatural pace.

Why is this important?

Calves are separated and transported too young and without proper feeding systems. Pregnant sows are confined to extreme metal-barred crates. Broiler chickens being grown at rates where they can't support their own weight, packed into overcrowded sheds.
