Apologise to Survivors of Mother and Baby 'Homes'

Issue an official apology to the survivors of Mother and Baby 'Homes' and the County 'Homes'. Commit to reparation through preservation of the institutional lands and consultation with survivors on memorialisation.

Why is this important?

The Local authorities were responsible for the Mother and Baby 'homes'. They funded the institutions and failed to protect the women and children. The sites of these institutions, including their burial grounds, must be protected from redevelopment.
