Ban live animal exports
Stop the cruel export of live farmed animals to other countries, which is increasing by 12,000 animals or 10% year on year.
Why is this important?
Long-distance journeys cause unnecessary suffering to animals. These journeys cause animals to become mentally exhausted, physically injured, hungry, dehydrated and stressed from the severe temperature changes.
Animals are subject to unimaginable suffering, crammed into ships and sent around the world, usually just to be slaughtered for meat and leather on arrival.
At a time when we should be reducing the herd for climate action, we are increasingly exporting our problem at the behest of the suffering of animals too.
