Support The Rotunda!
Just like many other women, I had my babies in the Rotunda. I believe women and babies deserve world class care.

The decision to refuse the critical care wing in the Rotunda is an enormous setback for maternity services. Yet again, women have to go out and fight for adequate health services.

Anyone who has spent any time in the Rotunda knows it should have facilities fit for 21st century care for women and vulnerable babies, but instead cramped conditions make the life- saving work midwives, nurses and doctors do everyday harder than it should be.

Show your support by signing our petition to the Taoiseach and the Minister for Health. Government must commit to getting the critical care wing built as soon as possible.

Why is this important?

Government created this mess by failing to clarify that the Rotunda’s future is not in Blanchardstown but in Parnell Square.

We need Government to make this critical care wing happen, and demonstrate it is committed to keeping the world's oldest maternity hospital in its original home at the heart of our capital city.
