Speed signs - Semple Woods
More often than not, people are driving too fast in our estate including visitors to the estate and delivery drivers. We need to protect our children better and it starts with us, the residents. Please start by taking better care when driving and SLOW DOWN in the estate. We also need to introduce speed signs for "Children at Play" and 10km max driving speeds throughout the estate. Please sign the petition to Glenveagh for speed signs across the estate. It is only a matter of time before a child is hurt and there's a genuine concern about the speed at which people are driving in the estate. Children are not responsible enough to understand they should slow down on bikes and scooters. The drivers are the people responsible for childrens safety. We need to take a stand as a neighbourhood and for the children of Semple Woods
Why is this important?
This is a campaign for change to introduce driving improvements for child safety across Semple Woods. As the estate grows we will see an uplift in cars and traffic. That is why speed signs are important.
