Shut Down X for producing Child Sexual Abuse Material
Elon Musks social media platform X is allowing people to create sexual images of children and mainly women. This needs to be recognised for what it is; criminal activity. So far the government response is to look at banning children from using the internet, a pathetic attempt to deflect from the real problem. They are afraid of holding social media bosses accountable. Anybody producing illegal content needs to know that they are not above the law. This is the governments job.
Why is this important?
If the government fails to launch criminal investigations against Elon Musk, they are making it clear that these social media corporations can blatantly break any law in any country. The laws on image based sexual violence and child sexual abuse material are clear and need to be upheld. Why are they putting the interests of social media bosses ahead of the people they were elected to serve?
