Right to Life at a Vegan Sanctuary for Sheep

Please sign our petition to let these sheep live out their lives at a vegan sanctuary.

Why is this important?

These sheep were apparently left for 4 days in a flooded field with nothing to eat, no shelter and unable to even lie down and rest as they awaited slaughter at Kepak Athleague in Roscommon. One of them died as a result of severe neglect.

It is their right not to be killed.

They have already suffered enough.

Eden Farmed Animal Sanctuary will offer them a home for life at our vegan sanctuary where they will be cared for and where their rights will be respected. Please encourage media to cover their story and encourage Kepak to let them go to our sanctuary.

In the last half hour Kepak have released all ten sheep to Eden Farmed Animal Sanctuary, including the one very weak sheep who they took from the island themselves and had in the slaughterhouse. This is an unprecedented action in Ireland. These sheep had a one in a billion chance of leaving a slaughterhouse alive. Thank you to all of you who supported us as we negotiated their release and prepared paddocks for them at Eden. I know you will join me in wishing them a safe journey to us where our hearts and arms are open wide to welcome them.

Some of them are ill and require veterinary care so we would greatly appreciated any financial support you can give us to care for them.

Most of all, we ask people to be vegan so that we can end this ordeal of being bred to be killed unnecessarily for all the animals used by humans. If we can support you to be vegan, please get in touch.

We only have 240 signatures on our petition to bring these sheep to the safety of our vegan sanctuary. We are the only sanctuary in Ireland willing and able to offer them a home at the moment. Surely there are more than 240 people who care that these sheep are released to us? Please show us your support and sign our petition. We understand that for many people the lives of 9 individuals are not important; but if you were one of them and your only life depended on it, wouldn't you hope with all your heart that people would support your freedom?
