Dear Mr O'Callaghan,  We are writing to urge you to take immediate action to protect people in Ireland from known domestic abusers by introducing Jennie’s Law—a Domestic Abuse Register that would prevent abusers from hiding their past and trapping new victims.  Currently, there is no way for someone to check if a new partner has a violent history, leaving countless people vulnerable to dangerous relationships. Jennie’s Law would change this by introducing:  • A Domestic Abuse Register for repeat offenders and those with convictions. • A Right to Ask policy, so individuals can check if a partner has a history of abuse. • A Right to Know system, allowing Gardaí to proactively warn those at risk. • Criminal penalties for abusers who deceive new partners about their past. • Improved protections and legal aid for survivors. Other countries have already taken these steps to protect victims—Ireland must not fall behind. No one should have to suffer abuse simply because their abuser was allowed to hide their past. By introducing Jennie’s Law, you can help prevent further harm and save lives.   Please take action now to make Ireland safer for everyone.   Sincerely

I want them to consider the serious issue concerning the need for citizens in the North of Ireland to be in possession of a Green Card to travel to the South of Ireland, whilst no Green Card is needed for citizens in the South of Ireland to travel to the North of Ireland. We are all living on the island of Ireland and no Green Card should ever be needed or forced upon citizens who have enjoyed the benefits of living on this island.

My child is an active and dedicated member of the Mount Merrion Youths Football Club (MMYFC), and yet, as their guardian, I find myself questioning the transparency of this organization we trust and invest in. Despite the club's role in shaping our children’s interactive skills and physical development, understanding its structural organization remains complex and obscure. With over 900 junior members registered annually and more than 100 coaches involved, the ambiguity surrounding the structure of this club only fuels our concerns further. It's high time that we, as a community, demand clarity and accountability from the Mount Merrion Youths Football Club.  All working organizations should promote transparency and accountability within their structures, especially ones that have a substantial impact on our future generations. Therefore, we call upon the management/committee of the Mount Merrion Youths Football Club to enlighten us on its structural hierarchy and operations. Honest and transparent dialogue about the club's framework will not only ensure the trust of its members and their parents but will also fortify the solidarity of our community.

We, the residents of Blessington and surrounding areas, would like Wicklow County Council to commit to the provision of a community swimming pool for our area.
