  • Return to glass milk bottles
We need them to stop using plastic bottles for milk. Single use plastic is killing our planet. The plastic containers are not being recycled properly. The recycling companies are shipping the waste to china which gives our milk a huge carbon foot print. Instead we need to return to glass bottles. That we return to the producers either through our milk men or the supermarkets where the bottles can be sterilised and reused. This will reduce our plastic waste. There should be a small discount to customers who return their clean glass bottles to the company as an incentive.

  • Department of Education: Create a REAL Action Plan for Integrated Education
Last year, people power helped pass the Integrated Education Act through the NI Assembly, which legally requires the NI Department of Education to do more to support integrated education. But now, the Department has produced an 'Action Plan' with no real action in it to support integrated education. No targets for growth. No new schools. No way of measuring the overwhelming demand for integration. No real action. This is not good enough.

  • RTÉ, retract & apologise for your harmful, insulting mpox article
Remove and apologise for your harmful article on Ireland's mpox outbreak, which focuses on the number of sexual partners one person with mpox had, instead of the way LGBTQ+ people have worked with health professionals to get people the care they need.  The framing of the article is stigmatising, hurtful and will lead to fewer people coming forward for help. It should never have been published in the first place.

  • Trial a cycle path on Dublin’s quays in 2020
We need your help to show public support to trial a cycle path on Dublin’s quays in 2020, and then look to build a wider quick-build cycle network. The Liffey Cycle Route was adopted in the Dublin City Development Plan 2011-2017 with the promise that a continuous and segregated cycle route would be built within the time of the plan. But the project has suffered many set backs and, last week, it was confirmed that the route is delayed yet again and now not expected to open until at least 2024. This petition is supported by local cycling campaign groups I Bike Dublin, the Dublin Cycling Campaign, and by the national umbrella campaign group Cyclist.ie, and by transport user group the Dublin Commuter Coalition.
