I am a wheelchair user that lives in a village called Ballina. At times when it gets busy, loads of people come out from all parts of the country into a village. When this happens, public footpaths get bombarded with cars, making it unsafe and unusable for my health.
I am looking for the county council to install proper bollards that cannot be vandalised easily by people. All attempts at this so far have been ignored. Any support I get would go a long way. I have been on to the newspaper and I've tried to contact a local councilwoman for the area and other TDs. Again, all emails have been ignored. Even when I went in to protest, that also was ignored.
