Park and Cycle Galway

Create hubs for commuters to park and then cycle into Galway city.

Anyone currently cycling from county Galway to Galway city?
Anyone planning on cycling from county Galway to Galway city?
Anyone like to cycle from county Galway to Galway city but think it's too far or too dangerous?

I'm hoping to get official Park and Cycle hubs setup around Galway city e.g. Oranmore, Barna, Claregalway, Moycullen, Clarinbridge.
To enable commuters to park their cars at the hub and cycle from there to city on safer roads.
Benefits:
-Reduce commuter traffic.
-Reduce toxic fumes.
-Reduce commuter time.
-Get exercise.
-Reduce cost of commute.

How it will be delivered

Deliver this petition with 100+ signatures to the Galway County Council and Galway City Council.

Well that was popular.
200 signatures in one month, that's great, thanks to everyone who contributed and shared.

The petition will remain here, I have no doubt there are more out there who are interested but haven't heard yet so please keep talking to you friends, family and colleagues and get them engaged.

I have one suggestion for this week and next and that is that you reach out to your employer and ask what their plan is with regard to transport and cycling, maybe they can help.
