Legalise the "No wait card" in Ireland

Dear Minister Browne.

Imagine wanting to use the toilet and being told no. This is what happens daily to people like myself with medical conditions.

The lack of public toilets and the "No wait card" having no legal recognisation,  means that when out in public spaces, there are no public toilets , and  shops and businesses can refuse access to toilets

Please amend legislation to legalise the "No wait card" and bring dignity and quality of life to people with medical conditions needing urgent toilet access

Why is this important?

There are thousands of people affected by this issue and yet it is ignored by planning/councils and government.

People with medical conditions needing urgent toilet access experience pain, accidents and humilation when refused access to toilets when out in publuc spaces.

Shops/businesses have a right to refusal, legalising the "No wait card" would stop this.  It would bring a better quality of life, take away anxiety and stress when going out in society and bring dignity to people affected.
