Facebook hold the personal data of 71% of people in Ireland. There is widespread recognition that this huge company is not properly regulated - despite evidence showing that it allows its platform - including our personal details to be shared and sold to 'shady' bodies and governments.
Why is this important?
Facebook should be regulated to prevent illegal private information use, personal data leaks, and to preserve individual privacy.
Its a multi billion profit making company that more or less knows the details, behaviour and tastes of a majority of people in Ireland.
