Demand Ronan Mullen's Removal

Demand National University of Ireland voters withdraw support for Ronan Mullen for his unprofessionalism and recent comments about Savita Halappanavar. His behaviour is a disgrace to Ireland and an embarrassment for the University.

Why is this important?

National University of Ireland's Ronan Mullen has a long history of unprofessional, embarassing, and offensive behaviour. He most recently made apalling comments about Savita Halappanavar, who is no longer here to defend herself -- due to the kinds of policies Senator Mullen himself promotes.

Ronan Mullen made the following statement about Savita Halappanavar, who was trying to start a family and was intentionally pregnant with her first child:

"If there was abortion on demand she wouldn't have been in the hospital because she wouldn't have been pregnant and she wouldn't have been having a miscarriage."

Savita died due to lack of medical intervention during pregnancy, as a direct result of the 8th Amendment.

How it will be delivered

Senator Ronan Mullen's office.

(note: when this petition had ~40 signatures it began receiving requests to call for his removal rather than an apology, and was updated to reflect that strong sentiment)
