Appreciate the nurses and midwifes! Abolish their retention fee from now to end of2021
PLEASE SHARE:
Today every nurse and midwife received an NMBI retention fee bill for €100. This bill has insulted every single one of us.
We believe this fee is incredibly unfair especially this year when we have put our lives on the line for the past 8 months and as we continue to put our health and our families health at risk during the pandemic.
We would very much appreciate it if politicians including Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly for Wicklow could show even a small appreciation for nurses and midwives in Ireland by asking the government to pay our fee this year.

Maybe just maybe they might fight for us!

Why is this important?
Nurses are stretched beyond capacity during this pandemic. We have stood and given then an applause, but tgat is not enough. To expect them to pay €100 to allow them work is unfair. Please waiver the fee until 2022.
