Allow those with Irish IRP Cards visa-free EU and UK Travel
Irish residents with Irish Residency Cards (IRP cards) are finding it extremely difficult to go on holiday or travel for family emergencies to the UK and within the EU due to lack of visa appointments at the various embassies. A visa is even required to transit through a UK airport when you should just be able to show your IRP card and passport.
Please negotiate at the highest level to allow those with IRP cards to travel freely in the UK and EU on presentation of the card. Background checks have already been done therefore the UK and EU should trust the Irish Authorities who have made these checks.

Why is this important?
Residents on IRP cards contribute a lot to taxes in Ireland and deserve the right to have a weekend away or holiday or travel for medical / family emergencies in the United Kingdom and Europe without hindrance.
How it will be delivered
In person at Government Buildings
