06/06/2024 Great news! Due to the pressure you put them under, Minister Andrew Muir has agreed to increase fines for agricultural pollution! We'll have to keep an eye on Minister Muir to make sure he implements this change, but this is a big win and you helped play a part in it. And we know how important this win is in our fight to save Lough Neagh and keep our waters safe and clean. This is what our community is all about - showing up and never giving up. Incredible news! Our campaign was successful, and this government is now promising to ban disposable vapes. This is an amazing victory, and it just goes to show how people power works.

We won! There will be buses running the routes and no gap in service between the companies switching.

People power forced a U turn!! AIB has reserved their plan to make branches cashless.

Following enormous pressure from the Uplift community, the Ashton Pound was shut down in 2021 and its owners brought before the courts.

People-power forced AIB to reverse their decision. AIB has said it has “decided not to proceed” with the proposed changes to its services that would have seen our AIB branch no longer process cash.

Maynooth University Governing Authority (GA) changed its decision on the formation of the next GA - all five of the internal members will be elected by MU staff.
