Stop separating children and locking them in cages on US/Mexico border

Refugee children and their parents are being torn apart and treated in the most inhumane way at the border between the United States and Mexico. Ireland can not just watch while this happens.
US Ambassador Reece Smyth is President Trump's representative in Ireland and we call on him to use his role to show the Trump Administration that people in Ireland are appalled and disgusted.
We join with others across the world to send the strongest message possible to the Trump Administration that this gross violation of human rights must stop.

Why is this important?

Forcibly separating children from their parents is a traumatic experience that will cause “irreparable harm”.
The actions of Trump has caused outrage - even amongst his supporters. The more people who speak out the stronger the likelihood this cruel and extreme policy will be overturned.
