Speed ramps for Bluepool Upper, Kanturk

This petition is regarding the safety of all children and people who live in Upper Bluepool Kanturk.
We ask for your help to allow our children to cross and navigate Upper Bluepool Road safely.
Within the the last 3 years traffic has increased significantly, with the introduction to new housing development. The volume of traffic has in increased ten fold. Also this has increased the Appeal to non native, non aware and non familiar traffic using our road.
Upper Bluepool is a narrow and curved road leading to a Cul De Sac.

The rate of speed at which cars etc. Are driving up our road is detrimentally leading to a serious risk of life on our road.
Today for example, our household observed 8 cars travelling at least in excess of 60km p.h
Fact.

We need urgently need a speed reducing ramp if not 2 on our road.

Also. A sign of cauntion children ahead.

The road starts to get bend just before the new houses, Kids want to play outside with their friends and socialise but the fear is there when the car comes, especially when crossing the road.

The road has no sign and no ramp where is needed.

The nearest ramp is near the Co op shop which is far away from the new houses which allows cars get speed back.

We have up to 30 Kids who use our road and need a signed road to make the cars aware of them.
