We are creating this campaign so we can unite public opinion in supporting Minister Ossian Smyth in banning disposable vapes in Ireland. We also wish to support Minister Stephen Donnelly as he aims to prohibit their sale to minors. A ban on disposable vapes, is common sense. These products are harmful to our health and our environment.

Don't allow planning to go ahead for this development in our rural town. We refuse to be the guinea pigs for Futur Energy. Why even consider damaging our local environment for an untested, unregulated project?

We request that - climate change and sustainability be included in all policy-making decisions - healthcare, transport, agriculture and industry, in particular, measure and reduce their heavy carbon footprint - safeguard clean air and water for all citizens.

We as independent farmers are asking our taoiseach Leo varadkar and our Irish government, to put forward a motion of no confidence and to issue our minister for agriculture Michael creed with his resignation (p45) with immediate effect, as our minister for agriculture simply isn't fulfilling his role,he was elected by our government to represent advocate and fight for farmers rights equality ,"something he has failed to do", , there are various different farming enterprises and farmers in Ireland ,they all hold the same view that our minister for agriculture Michael creed is unfit to be minister for agriculture ,he has no empathy for the people he is elected to represent, he is so un interested in farmers that he never wants to talk to them, to get to know the issues effecting them,its impossible for him to work effectively as minister to resolve farmers problems, when he won't meet with farmers to get to know what the problems are or how they can be resolved, we as a independent farmers wish take this opportunity to tell you ,we will be putting forward our own independent candidate who has been elected by us farmers at grassroots level to represent us as a farming community , kind regards Peter curran

Education Staff, both teachers and SNAs should be vaccinated as a matter of urgency in order to keep staff and our most vulnerable students safe and in order to facilitate the full reopening of our schools and to keep them open.

In every workplace in Ireland you are required to hold a valid occupational first aid certificate before beginning or obtain one while in employment. Why can't it be the same for mental health first aid? Helps: - Understand when someone needs help and where to send them. - Eliminates the stigma associated with mental health. - Everyone understands mental health better together. In 2019, roughly 421 people that were reported lost there lives to suicide in Ireland. There has been an epidemic in Ireland long before covid 19 and it has gone unnoticed. I am therefore calling on our government as well as companies to make it mandatory that you have to have a proper suicide prevention training or mental health first aid before starting any job. ***An assessment prior to the course will be carried out by trainers to understand the workers own mental wellbeing and to make sure to cater to each group so that people doing the course are not triggered.*** There is a mental health first aid course delivered through Mental Health Ireland. https://www.mhfaireland.ie/workplace?fbclid=IwAR1PCZi11aNcfwGyBygJrwvhHph5SOUo8qmkdF5QWWV9pzcp4bJcGVZpMoQ This does NOT take away from the fact we need more specialists such as counsellors in schools and psychologists as these are the people the first responders will be sending the people that are struggling too. I ask the government of Ireland to prevent any further suicides by passing this requirement into law. Enough is enough. I.E. this is also not a petition designed so that the government can wash there hands of 24hour services at A and Es and specialists which are badly needed in Ireland.

Minister Mc McGrath, honour the commitment you made in 2015 to ratify the United Convention on the Rights of Disabled People before the end of 2016. It is one year and counting after the deadline. We, disabled people and our families have waited far too long for our rights to be recognised and protected in Irish law, by our democratically elected government. We NEED the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities to be ratified immediately.
