Save Lucan Village & Taxi Rank

Hi, I am a taxi driver working Lucan rank the last 15 years, alongside with many other drivers. There was 4 spaces in the rank & 2 lanes, which has now been narrowed down to one lane and the taxi rank is no longer there. Reducing this side of the village to one lane will cause chaos for everyone , especially with children going back to school.  Also this taxi rank has been ongoing for 15+ years. I have been in contact with a local county councillor and she has arranged to meet with me and other other taxi drivers on this topic later this week to voice our opinions. I am making this petition as I feel like this narrow road will affect all residents and businesses of Lucan due to traffic congestion & it will also have a big impact on our Lucan taxi rank. If the rank is not easy accessible for the public & taxi drivers ,this will result in taxi drivers moving elsewhere and the people of Lucan will be at a loss as well. 

I would highly appreciate anybody who would like to sign this petition, as I would like to present it to South Dublin county council to try and make a change. Thank you.
