Provide public water filling stations & water fountains in Kildare

Install water fountains and filling stations throughout Kildare

We are requesting that the Councils identify pilot locations in areas of high pedestrian footfall, and examine the costs and best ways to implement the scheme.

Why is this important?

This would provide free and safe drinking water to the public. It would be an enhancement to our public amenities.
It would cut down on single use plastic bottles and encourage a culture of re-use.
