Progressive Taxation
To introduce a taxation system that is progressive. For instance, the wealthy pay the same price for a TV licence as a poor person does.
Why is this important?
There has to be some attempt to distribute wealth. Proactive measures in the application of taxation to ensure that those who can afford to pay, such as myself, will be taxed accordingly.
Let's say one has a total gross income of 150k, anyone earning above 100k should be taxed at 90%. People with big houses, large property portfolios, signature cars generally don't pay enough tax, otherwise how could they afford such indicators of wealth. Taxed young people cant afford a house yet certain individuals can afford a plush property in Aylesbury Road. There is no fairness in this.
