Pay Sammon Sub-contrators

Don't allow small businesses and workers to be the ones who suffer financially due to the collapse of big construction companies and government negligence. Sub-contractors are owed an estimated €14-20 million and such losses are unmanageable for small businesses.

We want the Irish Government to government to engage and negotiate the payment of subcontractors with those operating the Schools Public Private Partnership Bundle 5.

We would ask members of the public to support us and to raise awareness of our plight.

Why is this important?

On Monday 17th July 2018 we began our picket outside the Loreto secondary school, Wexford.
This action was taken as a last resort. Many sub-contractors have been left with unpaid invoices for their work and are owed significant amounts of money from Sammon Construction.
This has already resulted in the loss of many jobs and has and put businesses at serious risk. We also have bills to pay and families to provide for.
School children will be occupying buildings and using furniture and equipment that has not been paid for. It is essentially stolen property.
