To install drinking fountains and water bottle filling stations through out the town as part of the redevelopment plans
Why is this important?
Plastic waste is proving more and more of a problem, it doesn't break down and has a negative impact on the environment.
If we install drinking fountains and water bottle filling stations at certain places in the town for example the park it may encourage people to ditch single use plastics like plastic water bottles and move towards more environmentally friendly alternatives like reusable water canteens.
