College online graduations should not be a replacement graduation during COVID-19

To have an actual graduation in a safe manner in line with all HSE guidelines. Large numbers graduating could be staggered throughout the graduation season to give students the reward they deserve and have earned. We are very aware of the danger of large gatherings but feel graduations could take place in a safe manner in autumn/winter 2020.

Why is this important?

It is important because as many of us it will be a once in a lifetime achievement which should be proudly received and celebrated not virtually.
