  • Reverse the decision to abolish the Department of the Environment
Please recognise the value of a healthy environment and reverse your proposed abolition of the Department of the Environment. A healthy environment is the basis of a good quality of life for everyone and supports and sustains resilient communities. We urge you to reinstate the Department of the Environment and bring together all environmental functions - nature and water protection, waste and pollution control - under one Department of the Environment, Climate and Natural Heritage.

  • All children in Dublin Central deserve a school place
Dear Minister,  We are the Dublin Central Equality in Education campaign group. We are a group of parents across the Dublin Central area of Dublin campaigning for ALL children with additional needs to have access to a school place in their community, and they receive the support and resources they need to live the fullest life possible and have the opportunity to thrive.  We are part of the wider national Equality in Education campaign and support their demands. We as the Dublin Central area want to build awareness locally and campaign to ensure ALL the children in Dublin Central can access a school place in their community.  We feel the following needs to happen to ensure all children can obtain an education place in their local community as is their right.  We are campaigning for the following:  • All children with additional needs in the Dublin Central constituency have an education place for September 2025.  • There is no cap on SNA allocation and all children have the SNA support they need and access to all other extra resources in classrooms across schools in the Dublin Central area.  • In the Dublin Central area the SENO will contact all creche and early years settings to ensure all children who will need a special education place are accounted for.   • The demands of SNAs in current contract negotiations are met. They have access to professional development to support their role and the children's needs. Changes are made to minimum qualification requirement to enter the profession as per SNA campaign

  • Transparency in Re-turn's Deposit Return Scheme
We, the undersigned, call for full transparency regarding the financial operations of Re-turn, Ireland’s Deposit Return Scheme (DRS). This initiative, while aimed at promoting recycling and sustainability, has raised serious concerns about the allocation of unclaimed deposit funds and the lack of disclosure regarding executive salaries.

  • End Privatisation by Stealth and Outsourcing, Investigate Abtran!
✍️ Petition: Public Scrutiny of Abtran and Morgan McKinley To: Members of the Oireachtas Public Accounts Committee We, the undersigned, call on the Public Accounts Committee to urgently examine the practices of Abtran, both of which benefit from substantial public contracts. Despite receiving millions in taxpayer-funded contracts, Abtran has: • Refused to engage with a trade union, in defiance of a Labour Court recommendation. • Relied on off-shore entities in the British Virgin Islands for “tax efficiency,” raising serious concerns about transparency and public value for money. • Paid workers at or near the minimum wage, with minimal benefits, despite being entrusted with delivering core public services. This is a matter of public interest. Taxpayers have a right to expect that companies receiving significant state contracts uphold high standards in: • Accountability – fair and transparent tax practices. • Fair Work – respecting Labour Court rulings and workers’ rights. • Value for Money – ensuring public contracts do not subsidise exploitative practices. We therefore call on the Public Accounts Committee to: 1. Scrutinise Abtran and Morgan McKinley’s corporate structures and use of offshore entities. 2. Examine their compliance with Labour Court recommendations and fair employment standards. 3. Review whether their conduct meets the standards expected of government contractors. Ireland deserves public service delivery partners who respect workers, pay their fair share, and act transparently in the public interest.

  • Tenants Are Residents – Recognition Is Inclusion
Tenants Are Residents – Recognition Is Inclusion Local authority housing is home to a diverse cross-section of Irish society — including working families, older people, persons with disabilities, and children, who are too often unseen despite being deeply affected by housing conditions. These are not just tenancies. They are homes. They are communities. Recognising tenants as residents — with voices, experiences and lived expertise — helps create housing services that are more inclusive, responsive and human-centred. It ensures that people are seen, heard and involved in decisions that affect their daily lives. Because inclusion is not just about representation — It’s about voice, dignity and belonging. Empowering communities starts with recognition — and a voice for everyone.

  • No keys to Obomber - Retract your award.
It is beyond comprehension that Dublin City Councillors would stoop so low and award the keys of Dublin to Mr Obama, a President who has overseen and authorised war on more countries than any other US President.
