Recreational Sports Hub
That South Dublin County Council explore the idea of a recreational sporting Hub in the Clondalkin Local Electoral Area. The hub would include full athletics track and an all-weather pitch similar to one in Porterstown Castleknock. The Clondalkin LEA is a vast area with massive development in the last number of decades. With the increased population and the popularity of running and field games there has never been a better time for this kind of project to be built.
Why is this important?
Everybody will benefit from such a facility in keeping active and fit. A 400- metre athletics track are universal. If we want to see future athlete's competing at major sporting events creating a space where people can train in safe and secure manner is critically important.
