Permanent ice rinks Ireland

Simon Harris

Build permanent ice rinks in every county in Ireland. Ireland has a right to part take in ice hockey and ice skating permanently.

Why is this important?

Ireland deserves ice hockey and ice skating and we are deprived of it without reason. The people of Ireland should be able to compete in ice hockey and figure skating. Ever since I was a child I adored skating and I know if I was able to partake in skating full time, by now I would have been a professional skater and could go far in my skating career but I didn’t and I couldn’t of because of lack of ice facilities in Ireland. If I had a local ice rink I would have been there almost everyday and to be deprived of this without a reason is unfair and heartbreaking.
Ice hockey should have been a great sport in Ireland, seeing as Ireland has great rugby players and already great hockey players.
