Improving Road Safety in Frosses Village
We are asking Donegal County Council to install a Speed Indicator Device in Frosses Village, near Frosses National School, to encourage drivers to slow down, improve compliance with speed limits, and enhance safety for children, pedestrians and all road users.
Why is this important?
Every child should be able to travel to and from school safely.
In Frosses, children regularly cross a busy road between the National School and village car park, while others walk and cycle to school.
Residents have ongoing concerns about vehicle speeds through the village and the risk this poses to pedestrians.
Installing a Speed Indicator Device would be a simple and effective measure to improve road safety, encourage drivers to slow down, and help protect our children and community.
