We need better mental health services

24/7 emergency mental health care is essential. Too many people are without the care they need. Mental health care needs to be separate from general hospitals and treated as equal to physical health.

Why is this important?

Too many people are dying from suicide and more and more families all over Ireland are affected. By introducing 24/7 emergency departments for mental health for both children and adults lives will be saved.

Reasons for signing

  • I signed because my brother passed away 4 days ago from Suicide. I want to do something in his name so people know they can talk to people. Men, it’s okay to talk about your feelings and it’s okay to ask for help. I love my brother with everything in me and I don’t wish this on any family.
  • The mental health system is broken and it needs fixing
  • To try and prevent people feeling like there is no other way! There’s always another way.
