Better Community Policing presence to deal with antisocial behaviour in Sean Moore Park, Dublin 4

Better Community Policing presence to deal with antisocial behaviour in Sean Moore Park, Dublin 4

We, the undersigned, request that more visible community policing is engaged in the Ringsend, Irishtown, Bath Ave/South Lotts and Sandymount areas of Dublin 4, with particular focus on the playground at Sean Moore Park, Dublin 4.

Why is this important?

We, the undersigned, feel that this is necessary due to a spate of recent antisocial behaviour incidents which have involved the bullying, intimidation and, sometimes, assault of Primary school aged children in the areas mentioned. These attacks have been perpetrated by groups of older children and teenagers

How it will be delivered

We plan to write to the District Superintendent, Dublin City Council, local TDs, Senators and City Councillors. The correspondence will outline our concerns, our objectives and will include details of this petition showing the large support in the community for preventative measures.
