Blackwater Ukrainian Solidarity Group (Cork)

The Blackwater Ukraine Solidarity Group is a community-led volunteer initiative which seeks to assist Ukrainians moving to the Blackwater area of North Cork (including Fermoy, Mitchelstown, Ballyhooly, Glanworth, Kilworth, Conna and Rathcormac) Our main focus is on establishing a HUB in Fermoy to provide national and local information, support, care and a network for Ukrainians but also all those supporting Ukrainians in our area. Please note: Uplift do not vet organisers or members of groups; we simply provide the platform to connect members interested in helping. Any offerings of accommodation should go through the Irish Red Cross' Pledge a Bed campaign (https://registerofpledges.redcross.ie/#/). This is to help ensure that both those in need of accommodation and those offering accommodation are given the necessary support.
