Removal of discriminating RSA TV ad
Remove the current television ad as it is discriminating Learner Drivers and also Young Drivers. The ad makes it look as if all Learner drivers should be judged as dangerous people on the road when in fact they are not. This ad puts a stigma on Learner Drivers and it will make insurance premiums rise again and again.
Why is this important?
The sole purpose of this petition is to remove a television ad made by the Road Safety Authority Ireland. This Ad has not truthfully shown the Learner Drivers of irelands ability to drive. My view is that the new Clancy amendment is only a Revenue collection system and my solution is remove the Clancy amendment and launch a secondary school subject where in transition year or in the curriculum have a subject on road safety and the chance to book and sit your Driving test while still in school, this will dramatically reduce the number of learner drivers on Irish roads and dramatically increase road safety. We also have to seriously reduce the driving test waiting times. Please message me if you have any questions about this petition.
